About the EPC’s

Since EAPS was established several European Population Conferences have been organised, from the 1990’s on a regular two-year basis. The scientific program of these general conferences is structured into various Themes, which may vary per conference. There is a limited number of Plenary Sessions and various sets of Simultaneous Sessions. In addition special sessions and side meetings can be scheduled.

The conferences are open to a broad audience of people who are engaged or interested in European population studies from a scientific, policy, business or more general point of view.

The Conferences “travel” through Europe, i.e. every two years another European country hosts the European population community.
