In Memoriam - Prof. dr. Dirk van de Kaa †

We are saddened by the news that Dutch demographer Dirk Jan van de Kaa passed away 22nd of May. Dirk van de Kaa was the first President (1983-1987) and Honorary President (from 1987) of EAPS. For his obituary see here. We will pay tribute to him during the Memorial Moment at the Opening Ceremony of the European Population Conference 2026 on June 3rd and at other occasions.
